Historic Environment Scotland Bill passed by Scottish Government

The Historic Environment Scotland Bill was passed by the Scottish Government yesterday evening. This will bring into being a new body called Historic Environment Scotland  which will be responsible for investigating, caring for and promoting Scotland’s historic environment and which will take over many of the functions currently undertaken by Historic Scotland and RCAHMS.
