What We Do
FAME represents the interests of archaeological managers and employers by
- Responding to policy consultations affecting our members
- Publishing a Health and Safety Manual and regular safety updates
- Collating annual health and safety statistics for the industry
- Providing advice and support to our members
- Hosting an annual networking event
- Publishing an Employment Practice Manual and regular updates
- Collaborating with IfA in collating market data
- Contributing to the development and revision of IfA Standards and Guidance
- Liaising regularly with key partners such as ALGAO, CBA and IfA
- Participating in professional groups such as the Archaeology Forum, Archaeological Training Forum, Archaeological Archives Forum, IfA RAO Committee and the Heritage Alliance
